Pit Owners...

Pitbull owners are unique creatures themselves. They routinely blame the victims of their dogs. They also viciously slander victims and other concerned citizens on comment threads and forums across the net and in newspaper editorials everywhere. This denial of responsibility coupled with their complete lack of compassion for people killed and mauled by their animals earns them a special place in hell, in this blogger's opinion...

Why do dogs need aliases?

Any dog with half or more pitbull genes has the same instincts, physical abilities, and dangers. The variations and mixes are therefore included in this list, along with the simple aliases pit defenders use to deceive the populace.

pitbulls, pit bulls, pits, pittys, box heads, block heads, 'the noble breed', new yorkies or 'new new' yorkies, Staffordshire terriers, Stafford terriers, American terriers, St. Francis terriers, American bull terriers, American bullies, American bulldogs, dogo argentinos, Argentine mastiffs, mastiffX, great daneX, pit mixes, blue nose, red nose, etc.

'presa canarios' are half pit and half mastiff. they are gigantic versions of pits.
'cane corsos' are italian mastiffs. they look similar to pits and so are frequently blamed for pit attacks.

Consider This

If pits are so not-dangerous, then why do pro-pit sites provide instructions on how to make special tools to pry open their jaws???

http://www.pbrc.net/misc/breakstick_howto.pdf

Because most dogs bite and let go, while pits clamp on for up to 15 minutes per bite. They also 'scissor' their jaws to cut muscle and even break bones, while pulling to tear off flesh.

This is besides the fact they they usually go for the throat or face of their victim first.

NO other dogs attack like this.

(by the way, you can make your own 'break stick' for 3., so why is the site above selling them for 15.?)

Want more vids?

Some say these are not a lot of videos. However, there are two important reasons for this. One is that this site only posts videos of actual attacks- not news stories about the attacks. This narrows it down alot. Second, pit nutters obsessively search for and flag off attack vids on video upload sites- especially Youtube. This makes them hard to find sometimes. But they are out there and pop up when least expected. Generally, when attacks occur, people are too busy fighting for their lives, screaming, or calling the police, to think of recording the horrors unfolding before their eyes. This site is a mere sampling of attacks, showing what they really look like.

Wise Folk

What is a Land Shark?

A land shark is an animal that behaves like a vicious shark, but travels on land. Unlike the favicon picture, they look innocent as doggies. It is very unfortunate that pits give sharks such a bad name; it is not right to compare the two really. Sharks are an important part of the oceanic ecosystem that only attack for food. Pits are of no use to the environment though, and attack without warning or provocation. Due to the prevalent myth of sharks' verocity and ferocity, the label of 'land shark' is a fitting comparison.
Spear guns will stop either animal...

Pit Wags Tail as it Bleeds out Owner

Documentary

This film, based in the UK, shows that pits do not have to be trained to fight by "irresponsible owners". They do it instinctively at puppy stage without training or encouragement. It also details the problem of the vast subculture of people obsessed with fighting them, and how their underworld ties in to the so-called responsible owners who do not fight them. Worth a watch...

This film gets flagged-off of Youtube frequently, so if embedded video above is not working, search for "Dog-Fighting Undercover" by the BBC. Read their narrative of it here.

DEDICATION

This site dedicated to all of the people and animals that have been killed or mauled by pitbulls. These victims suffered horrifying experiences that resulted in violent death, descalpings, amputations, defacings, tearings, and/or defleshings, plus the intense scorn and harassment of pit nutters. May they rest in peace, or if still alive obtain both economic and legal justice.
